Crisis Intervention

During regular business hours, call (413) 545-2337.  Weekdays after 5 p.m., weekends and holidays, call UHS, (413) 577-5000.

In a life-threatening emergency, always call 911.

Examples of a crisis include:

  • suicidal or homicidal thoughts or impulses;
  • sexual or physical assault;
  • hearing voices or otherwise misperceiving reality; or
  • overwhelming loss, such as a death in the family.

People experiencing a psychological or emotional crisis often need immediate help. If you or someone you know is in crisis, remember that CCPH's emergency services are available 24/7/365.
