The Student Health Fee, paid by all students taking five or more credits per semester, covers a variety of mental health services, including campus workshops and presentations, outreach events, staff and student training, on call consultation and assessment, group psychotherapy, and brief individual therapy. If students are seen for more than four individual or eight group psychotherapy sessions, their primary health insurance will be billed and students are responsible for meeting their deductible requirements. All psychiatric medication visits will be billed to primary insurance. The Student Health Fee will cover any balance not paid by primary insurance, with the exception of plan deductibles, which the student must pay.

Psychological assessment (testing) for Learning Disabilities and/or Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder will be billed to primary insurance. Students are strongly encouraged to contact their insurance carrier for specific information about the terms and conditions of their coverage.
