PhD Candidate Eve Ng Receives New Media Grant

PhD candidate Eve Ng has received a competitive project grant of $1,000 from the Organization for Research on Women and Communication (http://www.orwac.org/grant-recepients.html), publisher of the journal Women's Studies in Communication. Eve will use the funds for her new project on global LGBT media, linking media representation, sexual citizenship, and the sociocultural and geographical specificities of new media technologies. Eve is undertaking this new project as 2012-13 Research Associate at the Five College Women's Studies Research Center, especially its Feminist Digital Humanities Initiative, and as instructor in Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies at UMass.
