Prof. Donal Carbaugh will deliver the keynote address at a National Communication Association preconference that will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his groundbreaking book, Talking American: Cultural Discourses on Donahue. The Communication Department has said goodbye to Machmer Hall and South College and has moved to the brand-new Integrative Learning Center (ILC).  Located due north of the campus pond, the ILC is a state-of-the-art academic building and now houses the Communication, Journalism, and Linguistics Departments and the Interdepartmental Film Studies Program.
