Author of "Queer Communication Studies," "Simple Pleasures: Lesbian Community and Go Fish," "Storyline and the Multicultural Middlebrow: Reading Women’s Cultural on National Public Radio," "Communication Pedagogy and Political Practice" and "Directorial Intention and Persona in Film School." Current projects include essays on the queerness of televised sport and on the sexual mediation of class difference and hierarchy, and a book on studying cultural production.
