Commencement ceremonies for the UMass Amherst Class of 2012 begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11 with the Graduate School Ceremony and continue with the Undergraduate Ceremony at 4:00 p.m.  and the Stockbridge School Ceremony on Saturday, May 12 at 10:00 a.m. Individual School and College Senior Recognition Ceremonies will take place on Thursday, May 10 through Saturday, May 12.

This section of the website provides details on travel, lodging, dining, and disability access to help make your visit go as smoothly as possible.

Because of the large number of people traveling to and from campus for the ceremonies, we strongly recommend that you plan your trip well in advance. Limited accommodations are available in campus residence halls as well as in area hotels and motels. A variety of meal options are also available on-campus and off-campus.

Please also allow plenty of time to travel to campus, to park and to get to your specific destination.
