Personalized Graduation Announcements

UMass Amherst Print Services offers graduation announcements personalized with the graduate’s name, degree, and major presented in either standard or customized texts. Many type styles are available. Class Rings

During the three days prior to Commencement, orders for class rings will be taken in the University Store. On Commencement Day orders will be taken in the tent outside the stadium.

Commencement DVDs

A two-disc set of DVDs of the Commencement ceremony, shot with a multi-camera setup and supplemented with scenic views of the campus and its surroundings, will be produced and sold as a fundraiser by student-run cable-TV station UVC-TV 19. Disc 1 will feature the main Commencement ceremony; Disc 2 will feature close-up footage of graduates during the ceremony as well as campus and regional views. Orders postmarked before June 1 will be billed at $35; later orders will be billed at $40. To order, mail a check (payable to UVC-TV 19) to UVC-TV 19, SUB Room 216, University of Massachusetts, Amherst, MA 01003-7310. Credit card orders will be accepted only on Commencement Day at the station’s sales table at the stadium entrance. All orders will be filled in October. For more information, call 413-545-1336. Senior Portraits

During your Commencement ceremony, professional photographs will be taken of you in your graduation cap and gown. In addition, the UMass Amherst Commencement Office has arranged with GradTrak® by Chappell Studios to take cap and gown portrait photos on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, April 15, 16 and 17 in Memorial Hall. You will receive a passport-sized, color proof image in the mail approximately one week after the event. A link to your digital proofs will be emailed to you 2-3 days following the portrait session. There is no obligation to purchase, and Chappell Studio guarantees complete satisfaction. Schedule your session by calling 800-424-3686. Walk-ins are also welcome. Photos may be of single individuals or a group of friends. GradTrak®is offering $5.00 off a purchase of $25.00 or more for either the portrait sittings in April or the Commencement ceremony photos.
