Gourmet Box Lunches: Let's Serve You One More Time

UMass Dining Services is offering Commencement day gourmet box lunches. Executive Chef Willie Sng and his team proudly present three popular choices (see below). Please order no later than Friday, May 15.

Gourmet box lunches including asignature sandwich on Artisan bread or sushi, a bag of Baked Lays chips, fresh fruit, a bottle of UMass spring water and UMass Bakeshop chocolate chip cookie sat $13.95 will be distributed before and after Commencement. (Order five or more sandwiches and receive a UMass Commencement ball cap valued at $25!)

The sandwich choices are:

• Chicken Chimichurri: Served on sun-dried tomato bread – grilled chicken breast, baby bibb lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, roasted red and yellow peppers, caramelized onions, and creamy Asiago mayonnaise.
• Beef Chimichurri: Served same as above but with – grilled flank steak instead of chicken..
• Greek Salad: Wrapped in a soft spinach tortilla – marinated eggplant, spinach, cucumber, vine-ripened tomatoes, roasted red and
  yellow peppers, caramelized onions, black olives and feta cheese.
• Gourmet Sushi: UMass students’ favorite meal: Choice of California Roll, Vegetable Roll or Smoked Salmon Roll; 12 pieces. Served with pickle, ginger, wasabi, light soy sauce and chopsticks

Order online or call 413-545-2472. Orders must be placed no later than Friday, May 15, 2009. Lunches can be picked up before and after Commencement at the Stadium’s Food Court near the front entrance. Please note: Kosher gourmet box lunches are available by request.

Stadium Food Court

Grinders, salads, wraps, fruit cups, desserts, and beverages will be sold before and after Commencement at a food court at the north end of the stadium.

Elsewhere on Campus

Food will be served at two campus sites:

• The University Club, which accepts MasterCard and Visa, will serve dinner on Friday, May 22, from 5 to 9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 23, from 3 to 8 p.m. To make reservations, call 413-545-2551 no later than May 15.
• The Campus Center Bluewall will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
