Pre-ordered Gourmet Box Lunches

UMass Dining Services is offering special celebratory gourmet box lunches on Commencement day. Executive Chef Willie Sng and his culinary team proudly present three popular choices: chicken chimichurri, beef chimichurri and a Greek salad wrap. Kosher gourmet boxed lunches are available upon request. Please order no later than Friday, May 16, 2008.

Gourmet box lunches (including a Signature Sandwich on artisan bread, a fresh fruit, UMass spring water, a bag of chips, and UMass Bakeshop cookies) at $13.95 will be distributed before and after Commencement. (Order five or more sandwiches and receive a UMass Commencement ball cap valued at $25!)

The sandwich choices are:

• Chicken Chimichurri on ciabatta bread: grilled chicken breast, baby bib lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, roasted red and yellow peppers, caramelized onions, and creamy Asiago mayonnaise.
• Beef Chimichurri on ciabatta bread: grilled flank steak, baby bib lettuce, vine-ripened tomatoes, roasted red and yellow peppers, caramelized onions, and creamy Asiago mayonnaise.
• Greek Salad wrapped in a soft spinach tortilla: marinated eggplant, spinach, cucumber, vine-ripened tomatoes, roasted red and yellow peppers, caramelized onions, black olives, and feta cheese.

Stadium Food Court

Grinders, salads, wraps, fruit cups, desserts, and beverages will be sold before and after Commencement at a food court at the north end of the stadium.

Elsewhere on Campus

Food will be served at two campus sites:

• The University Club, which accepts MasterCard and Visa, will serve dinner on Friday, May 23 from 5 to 9 p.m. and Saturday, May 24 from 3-8 p.m. To make reservations, call (413) 545-2551 no later than May 17.
• The Campus Center Bluewall will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
