Doctoral Regalia

Doctoral hoods are required for participation in the ceremony and can be purchased, after you have been cleared by the Graduate School, from the Graduate Records Office, 534 Goodell Building, M-F 9-4:45 from May 9-23, and 9-4 on May 24. Note: Doctoral hoods can be purchased only at the Graduate Records Office at a cost of $65 each. (VISA, MasterCard, checks and money orders are accepted.)

Optional Purchase/Rental of Doctoral Gowns

The Graduate School will provide you with a souvenir-quality doctoral gown when you purchase your doctoral hood. If you wish to purchase regalia suitable for professional academic use, you should contact Millie Hanas at the University Store at 413-545-2619. The deadline for purchasing regalia is March 30, 2007; the deadline for rentals is May 4, 2007.

On the day of the ceremony, a limited amount of Regalia will be available near the check-in tables, beginning at 12 noon.
