Information for Faculty

For those attending Undergraduate Commencement on Sunday, May 25 please assemble by the flagpole at the south end of McGuirk Alumni Stadium by 9:30 a.m. The program begins promptly by 10:00 a.m.

ACADEMIC REGALIA
Rental of academic regalia is provided free of charge to faculty. To order yours, simply call Millie Hanas at the University Store at 545-2619, before Monday, May 12, 2003. You may also fax your request to 545-4396 or send by email. The garments may be picked up during the days just prior to Commencement and returned to the same location afterwards.

You will need to supply the following information: Name, Height, Weight, Cap size, School colors (if known). You may also purchase academic regalia through the University Store at your own expense.

FACULTY SEATING
If you have not yet registered for Undergraduate Commencement, it is not too late to do so. Simply email Nancy Buffone or call her at 5-2554. This allows us to arrange the reserved seating for faculty and to ensure that we have enough refreshments in the faculty robing room for you.

PARKING
Please arrive on campus by 9:00 a.m., park in one of the lots near Whitmore or Boyden Gym and take a shuttle bus to the stadium.

COMMENCEMENT RECEPTION
Chancellor Lombardi will be hosting a reception for graduates and their families immediately following the undergraduate ceremony, and he extends the invitation to all faculty. If you are available to attend, please join the Chancellor as he welcomes and honors the Class of 2003.

GRADUATE SCHOOL COMMENCEMENT
For those attending Graduate Commencement on Saturday, May 24, please assemble under the tent in the parking lot west of the Mullins Center at 10:00 a.m. The procession begins promptly at 10:20 a.m.
