Robin E. Levine, MA, RD, CDE, Associate Director of the Center for Nutrition
in Sport and Human Performance, is currently a member of the faculty of
the Department of Nutrition and Sports Nutritionist for the Department of
Athletics at the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
She received her Bachelor's degree from George
Washington University and her Master's degree from Goddard College during
which time she was mentored by D. Mark Hegsted, Ph.D. of the Harvard School
of Public Health. Robin E. Levine is a Registered Dietitian and Board Certified
as a Diabetes Educator. She served as Senior Clinical Nutritionist and Coordinator
of Nutrition, Eating Disorders, and Diabetes Care Services at the University
Health Services of the University of Massachusetts for 15 years before joining
the Nutrition faculty and Department of Athletics. She has presented widely
on the topics of eating disorders, sports nutrition, and Medical Nutrition
Therapy for diabetes in addition to co-chairing two regional conferences
on eating disorders. |
