Within the Center for Neuroendocrine Studies,
there are training opportunities at the pre-college, undergraduate,
predoctoral and postdoctoral levels. Most of the graduate students
working in CNS labs are enrolled in the Neuroscience and Behavior
Program, although some are in other departments and programs listed
below. Support for students and postdoctoral trainees comes from research
assistantships funded by grants from the NIH, the NSF, and private
foundations, from teaching assistantships in the participating departments,
and from fellowships from the University and external granting agencies.
In addition, the CNS has recently been awarded a training
grant from the National Institute of Mental Health for support
of graduate and postdoctoral training in Neuroendocrinology.
