The Classics Honors Program is an individualized program that rewards depth of study in the liberal arts with a focus on Classics. The program requires completion of several honors courses as well as supervised independent study, research, and writing of either a Senior Honors Thesis or completion of a Senior Honors Project. Completion of the program with a GPA of 3.5 or higher earns Classics honors:

magna cum laude: 3.5 GPA 3.5 GPA and a grade of B+ or higher on the Honors Thesis or Honors Project

summa cum laude: 3.8 GPA and a grade of A or A- on the Honors Thesis or Honors Project
