Jack Duff (class of 2018) a double major in Classics and Linguistics will be a Summer Intern in Publications at Harvard University’s Center for Hellenic Studies in Washington DC. Jack will be putting his skills in Greek and Latin and in computer technology to work supporting the Open Greek and Latin Project, specifically the subset called the Free First Thousand Years of Greek. While at the Center Jack will have access to its library and other resources, which he will be taking advantage of to continue some of his own research into intersections between classical texts and linguistics. He is excited to be a part of the international scholarly community welcomed by the CHS and to be representing UMass.
