The K-12 Information Technology Project

The K-12 Information Technology Project is a targeted initiative under the broader CITI umbrella. The goals of the K-12 Information Technology Project are to:

  • Provide intensive professional development to public school educators to improve their skills and knowledge about effective technology integration in teaching and learning;
  • Create systemic change in teaching practice that supports both student and teacher fluency with information technology;
  • Provide educators with the opportunity to align their work with ISTE’s National Educational Technology Standards (NETS).
  • Target educators from schools that serve a high proportion of low-income students, relative to their district or state’s free and reduced price lunch percentages.
Support and disseminate promising IT practices for students and teachers in Massachusetts’ K-12 schools.
