Proposals will be prioritized using several criteria:
- Capacity of lead institution and partners to deliver a sustained and quality professional development experience for teachers and administrators from multiple school districts.
- Expertise and knowledge in promoting the skills, concepts and capabilities that support IT fluency for teachers and students.
- Linkages to the NETS standards that support the connections between curriculum and technology.
- Participation of low-income schools/districts.
- Adequate, efficient and reasonable budget to support the project.
- Evidence of successful outcomes and/or a plan to generate such evidence during the grant period through evaluation.
Potential transferability of the proposed project to other settings with the likelihood of accomplishing similar results.
