In September of 2019, CIE published the 7th edition of its Dissertation Abstracts, a compilation of the abstracts of all dissertations completed by students associated with CIE since its founding in 1969.

Mariam Rashid receives the Ambassador Cynthia Shepard Perry Award

Mariam Rashid was awarded the Ambassador Cynthia Shepard Perry Award for the 2019-2020 academic year.  The award was established to provide support for graduate students in international education or affiliated with the Center for International Education to help them pursue international field work.

Degrees Earned in the 2018-2019 Academic Year

At the end of each academic year it is time to pause and celebrate the accomplishments of students associated with CIE who have completed their degrees during the academic year. This year graduates were awarded five doctoral degrees and two Education Specialist degrees.  They represent a variety of countries including Bangladesh, Georgia, Nigeria and the USA.
