Mattei departs Alumni Relations, Association

niversity Advancement announced this week that Susan Mattei is no longer serving as assistant vice chancellor for Alumni Relations and executive director of the Alumni Association as of March 4. Mattei has been the assistant vice chancellor for Alumni Relations since 1999, and previously held positions in alumni relations, publications, and marketing in the College of Engineering from 1990-97.

     Deb Masloski, director of Alumni Programs and Administration, is the interim coordinator of Alumni Relations. Interim Vice Chancellor for University Advancement Elizabeth Dale will serve as a temporary liaison with the Alumni Association.

     Dale said, "We are grateful to Susan for her years of service to UMass Amherst, and we wish her well in her new endeavors."

     According to Dale, a national search will begin shortly for a permanent replacement for Mattei.
