Another view of PeopleSoft

The letter from Mary Pelis (Sept. 13) about the shortcomings of PeopleSoft reminded me that three weeks ago in New Orleans I encountered a convention of 10,000 people sponsored by the PeopleSoft organization. I was told that 1,000 were employees of the company and the other 9,000 were customer representatives. I don't know who was paying for what, but the company hired the Superdome for their closing party. I guess the 1990s aren't finished yet.
