Watrous, Mangels named to interim posts
in A&F
acqueline Watrous and Andrew Mangels have been
assigned new duties under an organizational shift announced Sept.
3 by Joyce Hatch, interim vice chancellor for Administration and
Finance.
Watrous
is assuming the duties of interim budget director, while continuing
to direct A&F Administrative Systems. She also is taking on
responsibility for Financial Cost and Analysis, said Hatch.
Employed
on campus since 1984, Watrous has held a number of positions within
A&F, including executive financial officer and manager of Financial
Analysis and Systems. In her job, Watrous "has been a leader
in the smooth integration of the human resource and financial applications
of PeopleSoft on campus," said Hatch.
Watrous
received her BBA and MBA through the School of Management in 1982
and 1990, respectively.
Mangels,
who was appointed controller last year, is assuming interim responsibility
for the Procurement Department and Bursar's Office. He holds an
MBA from Johns Hopkins University and has a "strong background
in university accounting," said Hatch.
Mangels is staying in his office on the fourth floor of Goodell.
