University of Colorado campus
Linda L. Nolan, professor of Environmental Health
Studies, has been named the new dean of the College of Letters,
Arts and Sciences at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs
(UCCS).

the administration are hosting a reception in honor of retiring
staff and faculty on Thursday, June 6, 3-5 p.m. in the Lincoln Campus
Center Auditorium.

farewell for Cevallos
The campus community is invited to attend a farewell
reception and celebration for Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs
and Campus Life F. Javier Cevallos, who is leaving June 30 to serve
as the new president of Kutztown University in Pennsylvania.

The Faculty Senate endorsed the continuing efforts
of its Ad Hoc Committee on Undergraduate Education, including the
formation of a permanent council, following a presentation on May
