Medical School professor to address senate

he Faculty Senate is scheduled to hear a presentation on "Proposed Modifications to Tenure at the University of Massachusetts Medical School" by John Walsh, co-chair of the American Association of University Professors at UMass Worcester, at its Nov. 1 meeting at 3:30 in 227 Herter. Walsh also is a member of the University's Intercampus Faculty Council.

     "This presentation is intended to inform the faculty of the Amherst campus of the University of proposed changes in personnel practices for the Worcester campus that might have some impact on the Amherst Campus," senate secretary Ernest May said in a press release.

     State Rep. Ellen Story (D-Amherst) will give a legislative update.
