Safeguard projection facilities
John W. Stacey, director of Academic Instructional Media Services, advises faculty, staff and teaching assistants that projection facilities should be used carefully.
"Our technicians find, in many locations, projection equipment left on and booths unlocked," he says. "Please be sure to turn off all equipment; untangle microphone cables; where wireless microphones are used be sure to replace them properly and lock the projection booths when you leave. This will not only help prevent vandalism and theft, it will also leave the facilities in good condition for the next user."
