Lawmakers last week approved another two-week interim state budget after sparring over the issue of Clean Elections funding.

MLRC clears GEO on labor complaints
The Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission on Wednesday this week determined that the Graduate Employee Organization did not encourage or condone a sick-out by graduate student instructors in the Division of Continuing Education on Aug. 16-17.

Members of the Massachusetts Society of Professors ratified a three-year contract with the University during balloting that closed Aug. 20. Faculty and librarians voted 481-16 in favor of the agreement.
