Bridge updates going online

Web site with information about the Coolidge Bridge reconstruction was slated to go online this week to assist campus commuters.

     The site (www.coolidgeinfo.com) will provide current travel time information and video snapshots along Route 9 and, eventually, along Route 116. It will also present information concerning reconstruction activities, tips for avoiding construction-related delays, links to UMass Transit and the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority, and a variety of other information intended to help travelers during the scheduled two-year reconstruction period and on a continuing basis thereafter.

     The Web site is being developed as part of a recently inaugurated program to create a Regional Traveler Information System (RTIC).
