Campus Appreciation Day is June 1

All University employees and their immediate
families are invited to attend Campus Appreciation Day on Thursday,
June 1, 5-8 p.m. on the Metawampe Lawn area near the Student Union
and Lincoln Campus Center.
The event is held annually to thank faculty and staff for their
hard work and dedication to the University during the previous
year. From 5-7 p.m., there will be a cookout with hot dogs, hamburgers
and a vegetarian selection. Other activities, including games
for children, will be ongoing.
In the event of rain, the event will move to sites in the Student
Union.
Each person attending Campus Appreciation Day will receive a
voucher good for one general admission ticket for the home football
game versus University of New Haven on Sept. 23.
Registration forms are being sent by campus mail to all employees.
Forms should be completed and returned to the Controller's Office
in Goodell by Tuesday, May 30.
Retirees also invited
The Committee for Campus Appreciation Day also invites all retired
faculty and staff and their immediate families to attend the annual
event.
Retirees may register by calling the Division of Human Resources
(5-0862).
