Valeria Molinelli, BS, born in Lima, Peru, Chef Molinelli started in the culinary world at the age of 18 traveling around the world to Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Ireland, and Spain. Chef Molinelli has trained in different kitchens to include: Ashford Castle Hotel in Ireland and the Swissôtel in Peru. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She brings a wealth of knowledge in native Peruvian Cuisine, the home of “Ceviche”, and is well versed in New Latin Cuisine. She worked as a liaison for International Programs. Chef Molinelli wrote the curriculums for the Chef’s Culinary Conference at the University of Massachusetts for the past two years; and also organized Food Seminars for the Nation’s Restaurant News & Fishery Products International and Hormel Foods. Chef Molinelli is currently working at Johnson & Wales University as Director of Culinary Events and as Private Sous Chef for Dr. John Bowen, University President of Johnson & Wales University . She currently holds both an Associate’s and Bachelor’s Degree in Culinary Arts from Johnson and Wales University and will pursue her Master’s Degree in Hospitality & Tourism this fall at Johnson and Wales University.
