Frank Hu, MD, PhD
Associate Professor of Nutrition and and Epidemiology, Department of Nutrition; and Assistant Professor of Medicine, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard School of Public Health

Dr. Hu’s research has primarily focused on the role of dietary and lifestyle factors in the development of obesity, type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease. His research is largely, although not entirely, based on two large ongoing cohort studies at Harvard: the Nurses’ Health Study (NHS) and Health Professionals’ Follow-up Study (HPFS). Dr. Hu received his MD from Tongji Medical University in China and his MPH and PhD from the University of Illinois at Chicago
