Graciel Caces

Chef Caces is a freelance food stylist and recipe tester for the Foodnetwork and Everyday with Rachael Ray magazine. She has worked behind the scenes for Emeril Live, Tyler's Ultimate, 30 Minute Meals, Iron Chef America, and Throwdown with Bobby Flay, to name a few. Her independent work as a stylist includes various satellite media tours, and work with Men's Fitness Magazine, Kraft and Betty Crocker webisodes, and Foodbyte commercials. She ahs also recipe tested for the award-nominated Asian Noodles by Corinne Trang and the New York Times bestseller Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.

Though Chef Caces left the Philippines at a very young age, she has grown up eating and embracing Filipino food and culture. Founded by her late grandmother, Gloria Romero's Restaurant is the oldest running restaurant in Chef Caces' hometown of Baliuag, Bulacan., spanning nearly 60 years and three generations. "GRR" has reached national acclaim in the Philippines, and the legacy of cooking and passion for food has definitely been passed from grandmother to grandchild.

Chef Caces received her B.A. from New York University and graduated summa cum laude from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. Chef Caces has recently hosted a cooking segment on the national Filipino Lifestyle Show "The Sweet Life with Lucy Torres," as well as for a local Bulacan television station. Her other work engagements include serving as a children's culinary Instructor for the Sylvia Center in New York City.
