Mai Pham

Mai Pham is the chef/owner of the nationally acclaimed Lemon Grass Restaurant and Lemon Grass Asian Grill & Noodle Bar in Sacramento, California, author of Pleasures of the Vietnamese Table, The Best of Vietnamese & Thai Cooking and The Flavors of Asia, and regular guest chef instructor at the Culinary Institute of America.
An award winning writer, Mai has contributed to and has been featured in publications from Bon Appetit, Fine Cooking, Gourmet and The San Francisco Chronicle to Martha Stewart Living as well as on TV Food Network’s “My Country, My Kitchen.”
Born in Vietnam and raised in Vietnam and Thailand, Mai learned the secrets of Southeast Asian flavors from her mother and grandmother, and from talented cooks and chefs throughout Asia.
