Peer Advisors

Working under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Career Planning,
the peer advisors will provide information and assistance to students regarding
opportunities available through the Career Services office.

Examples of duties:

Provide resume & cover letter critiques to students on a walk-in basis
Staff the front desk providing relevant information to students and employers
Co-facilitate workshops with graduate assistants
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Sophomore or junior status
Minimum 10 hours per week
Work-study required
Excellent communication skills, oral, written as well as listening
Ability to work within a group as well as independently
Experience with Career Services preferred

Salary: $8.50/hr. Deadline for application: Open until position is filled
