First Destinations of UMass Graduates

UMass graduates go many places, and this report contains information on some of their first destinations. This information is based on voluntary surveys of the graduates. Additional information may be obtained from individual academic departments. The University does not calculate a "placement rate" because, ultimately, career success is up to the individual. We do, however, emphasize that students who study hard, get good grades, develop their skills, take the time to identify their true interests; then contribute to the larger community and gain practical and professional experience will have many attractive options when they leave UMass.
