Our Career Advisors

We encourage students to meet with a career advisor for help in developing a career plan. An advisor will get to know you and help you plan a strategy that suits your personal, professional, and academic goals. He or she can guide you through the decision-making process and provide advice on work, internships, or activities to add to your schedule. Advisors may also help you prepare for interviews, point you in the right direction to find job opportunities, and provide guidance in considering a job offer.

Beyond one-on-one meetings with students, our advisors conduct workshops, provide training and information, and bring alumni to campus to talk about life after UMass Amherst.
