Ice Hockey

About The Club
The women's club team competes in the Division I American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) of the Eastern Collegiate Women’s Hockey League (ECWHL).

Members of the team are students first and hockey players second, except when on the ice. Practices are held in the evenings at the Mullins Center practice rink.

Co-funded by Campus Recreation and the Student Government Association, players help fund the team with player dues. Dues are split into three payments over the course of the season. Dues cover travel, including plane tickets and hotel rooms, team apparel, hockey bags, book bags, travel bags, sticks, gloves, helmets and skate sharpening. For any other hockey equipment, including skates, goalie pads and protective equipment, the club can typically get a reduced price. To help fund the cost of having a hockey program, the club has fundraisers during the year.
