Baseball

About The Club
The baseball club was established in 2003 by Andrew Wilson. The team provides an opportunity to play competitive intercollegiate baseball. Tryouts are typically held at the beginning of September. Baseball competes in the North Atlantic North Division of the National Club Baseball Association. Opponents include UConn, Cornell, Syracuse, SUNY Albany and SUNY Cortland. The team also plays a competitive non-conference schedule.

In 2004, the club joined Campus Recreation's Sport Club Program. The baseball club also joined the National Club Baseball Association (NCBA) during the 2004-2005 season.

In 2004-2005, the club had a very impressive regular season and participanted in the NCBA Spring Training Showcase in Florida. The club then went to the Northeast Atlantic Region playoffs and defeated reigning champion Penn State to win the title. A few weeks later, they participated in the 2005 NCBA World Series in Bradenton, Florida. The team has made its mark in the NCBA by reaching one world series and 4 regional tournaments.

This past year, baseball won the Northeast regionals.
