Extramural Sports

Extramural sports are regional and national tournaments held in flag football and basketball to give intramural teams from across the country the opportunity to compete against each other and find out who is the best of the best.

Teams from UMass have attended these tournaments as well as some of our best officials over the years. Officials also have the opportunity to prove their worth out on the field or court. Not only do they bring back a wealth of knowledge to share on campus, but they could win a trip to officiate the National Championships.

The UMass Student Officials Association will host a Regional Basketball Tournament in the spring.
