Trouble and Money defeated BAMFS 15-3, 9-15, 15-8

All five teams qualified for the seeded 1998 Wallyball Playoffs. Fourth seeded BAMFS upset 3rd seeded NIB C, 15-6 and 15-11. They also upset 2nd seeded Caffeine Buzz 15-6 and 15-5 in their semi-final match. First seeded Trouble and Money easily handled 5th seeded NIB B 15-6 and 15-3. In their regular season meeting Trouble eked out an overtime victory 15-10 and 16-15.

Trouble carried their semi-final momentum to a powerful 15-3 first game win. BAMFS stepped up and took the second game 15-9. The Trouble dynamic duo Chris Carey and Darcie Wexler recaptured their winning form and took the rubber game 15-8 to win their first Wallyball Championship.
