Championship Game Summary
All-Stars 2, VSA All the Way 0

All-Stars and VSA All the Way both went undefeated during the season and earned a bye in the final round of the playoffs and the #1 seed in their respective league. All-Stars, comprised of many players from last year's champion Done Deal, chucked Performance Spikes 15-3, 15-7 and took a three-game match from Team Rudy 12-15, 15-3, 20-13 to earn a berth in the final. VSA All the Way had a similar path to the final by beating Team Name 15-6, 15-11 and nipping Kaboom 9-15, 15-9, 20-15. In the first set of the championship, VSA started quickly with a 4-0 lead. All-Stars capitalized on good hitting and serving  and came back quickly with four straight points to even the game. All-Stars then ran away with the first set, led by ferocious hitting from Jose De Jesus and captain Tru Lang. VSA did not help themselves by committing several unforced errors. All-Stars easily won the first game 15-4.

In the second game, the teams traded points and committed net violations, as well as hitting and serving errors. With the game tied at three, All-Stars went on another tear and jumped to an 11-3 advantage. All-Stars were again fueled by big hitting from Lang. VSA made an attempt to get back in the game by scoring four straight points for the 11-7 score, but a comeback was not to be. Once the service was theirs, All-Stars quickly put the game away 15-7 and captured the match.
