Championship Summary
Walrus Defeated Ratatouille 15-12, 15-9

Playing with just four players, Walrus knocked off Ratatoulile to win the ‘Top Gun” final. In the first game, Ratatouille jumped to a 7-4 lead before Ashley Hall served four consecutive points to give her squad a commanding 11-4 lead. Walrus climbed back into the game using strong defense and consistent serving. Matt Hollingshead rattled off five points to draw Walrus to within a point. Up 13-12, Andrew Watson then served his team to victory in game one.

In game two, Hall again sent Ratatouille to an early lead, this time at 4-1. Walrus answered right back as Kate Bonner served her team even with three straight points. Both teams played evenly as they traded points until Walrus’s Lindsay Franke and Katherine Bonner served their team to the 15-12, 15-9 victory.
