Men's Ultimate Frisbee Spring 2000

Champiosnhip Game Summary
Isotopes 13, ChaChas 12

Scaring off the competition, only last years finalists chose to participate this time around. The competition was made even more difficult with a fierce wind that, at times, proved unyielding. Game one was one-sided, as Isotopes won 12-6, thanks to an offense that could score facing the wind. Game two was hotly contested as Cha Chas were determined to regain their title.

Cha Chas proved victorious 8-6, leading to a 'winner take all' final game. Both teams started out strong and went to the half at 7-5 Cha Chas. Over the last 4 minutes isotopes scored 3 times to knot the score at 11-11 and force overtime, isotopes was able to score twice while limiting Cha Chas to only one goal in the 5-minute extra time frame. A three-peat was not meant to be for Cha Chas as Isotopes avenged last season's championship defeat.
