Championship Game Summary
Butterfield 12, Alarming Pipsqueaks 8

The 1989—90 Ultimate Frisbee Championship was a best of three series between last year's runner—up Butterfield and the Alarming Pipsqueaks. In game 1, Butterfield won 8 to 3 behind the scoring of Marc Anievas and Charlie Miller, each scoring two goals. The second game began like the first, Butterfield jumped out to a 6—2 advantage at the half.

The Pipsqueaks came back and only trailed 8—7 midway through the second half on the strength of Guy Lake's three goals. Butterfield then went to work and outscored the Pipsqueaks 4—1 in the final minutes to salvage a 12—8 victory and the title. Anievas and Miller tied for scoring honors in the tournament with four goals apiece. Scott Dworkin of Butterfield threw for 14 of his team's 20 goals and caught one goal himself.
