Championship Game Summary
Where My Pitch's At? 7, JA Juicers 0

The 2010 co-rec softball game started just the way it would end, with Where My Pitch’s At? winning the choice to be home team and foreshadowing things to come. Facing the JA Juicers, Pitch’s made quick work in the top of the 1st putting the Juicers down 1,2,3 with strong help from Eric Fenstermaker at third base. Continuing their strong start, Matthew Perry doubled to centerfield and eventually scored. Brian Novoson singled to score John Kineavy and just like that Pitch’s was up 2-0. Up again in the bottom of the third inning, three singles led to another run before Perry came up big with a 2 RBI single. JA Juicers could not get things going, and went down order.  However, their defense picked up the pace when Greg Bitsimis stabbed a Perry liner at third base to end the fourth inning.

Looking to turn it around, JA Juicers had runners in scoring position in the fifth but could not capitalize. Not to be outdone defensively, Jess Newton proved stellar at second to help Where’s My Pitch’s At? keep JA Juicers at bay. The superb fielding continued in the sixth as Colby Cabral made a fantastic doubleplay from third base by tagging the runner and throwing on to first base. JA Juiders went down in order in the 7th behind Perry’s diving “snow cone catch” that would surely make the top 10.  Perry’s bat stayed hot when he singled to left and scored. That would be all Pitch’s needed as JA Juicer’s bats stayed silent. Where’s My Pitch’s At? recorded the shutout 7-0.
