The Fix Is In jumped to a 1-0 lead in the top of the first with an RBI single from Travis Gross. Sigma Alpha Mu answered with 2 runs in their half of the inning. Both pitchers, Nick Moalli and Josh Pearlman, settled down, not allowing any runs through the second and third innings. In the top of the fourth, Fix's Jesse Kahn and Gross set the table with back-to-back singles, leading to an RBI double by Chris Hoey. SAM responded with a lead-off double by Jon Aponte. A sacrifice bunt and a sacrifice fly by Ernie Roswell tied the game at 3.

In the top of Fix's fifth, three consecutive singles from Jeremy Ahearn, Dan Rimerman, and Moalli loaded the bases with one out. A Nick Gervais line drive struck runner Ahearn who was called out. With two out, Kahn and Gross had clutch hits to drive in 3 runs. In the bottom of the inning, after two sparkling plays in the field by Fix's Rimerman and Gross, SAM had a two-out rally with singles from Zach Slapsys and Adam Blazar. A Fix throwing error left the score at 6-4 with runners at second and third. Moafli got Tom Olivo to pop out to seal the 6-4 win and The Fix Is In's first-ever championship.
