Good things happen to those who work hard and persevere. Kurts Tour Bus won a rain-shortened championship over a short-handed Tumbling Biscuits II, 7-4. With eight seniors, including captain, Peter Wolly, Kurts entered the tourney heavily favored and crushed Sweet Seniority, 16-4.

In the final, both pitchers Megan Normandin and Diane Grant still managed to keep the slick ball over the plate. In the end, the lack of fielders doomed the Biscuits. Kurts' six run barrage to end the second inning was insurmountable. The Biscuits rallied for two and went down swinging, 7-4.
