Championship Game Summary
Viva Malaka! 6, Master Blasters 3

Viva Malaka! was 3-2 during the regular season and finished second in the Academic League to gain a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Viva Malaka! eked by Prince International 2-1 to advance to the final. Their counterpart in the championship, Master Blasters, finished first in the league with a 5-0 record.

Master Blasters also had a bye in the first round of the playoffs and then disposed of Left United 5-2 to advance to the championship. When these two teams met during the season, Master Blasters doubled up Viva Malaka! and won the game 6-3. Viva Malaka! was psyched to avenge the loss but rain forced cancellation of the scheduled final and a rescheduled date could not be agreed upon by both teams. And who said sharing is a lost concept?
