Championship Game Summary Eighteen teams completed in pool play with the top twelve advancing to the playoffs. In the final, co-captains Brian Heightington and Jerry McDonald led Busta Nut to a 14-13 halftime lead. In the 2nd half, Busta Nut extended the lead to 20-13. Then, with 27 seconds left, Rick Gould led Solid downfield and into the endzone to bring the score to 20-19. Brett Gossman scampered into the endzone on a gutsy 2-point conver sion. Solid walked away champion in a thrilling 21-20 victory over Busta Nut. |
