Three teams participated in the women’s tourney, which featured pool play and a seeded single elimination playoff. In pool play, Flow 20 crushed both White Chocolate, defending champions, and the Other Team 48-14 and 54-24 respectively. The semifinal was a rematch of White Chocolate versus the Other Team. This game was nip-n-tuck all the way, but White Chocolate eked out a 31-29 victory and a spot in the final versus top-seeded Flow 20. The greatly anticipated rematch was not to be as White Chocolate was a ‘no show” for the final and Flow 20 won by forfeit. |
