Championship Game Summary
The Tight Ends 18, Wolf Pack 14

This year’s women’s championship flag football game pitted Wolf Pack against the Tight Ends. Wolf Pack had a regular season record of 4-0 while the Tight Ends had one loss for a 3-1 record. Poor weather conditions left the field in less than perfect conditions, but both teams appeared to be ready to play -- rain, mud or shine.

Both teams were not able to get much going on their opening drives. As the first half ticked on, the Tight Ends began to find a rhythm with running plays and short pass plays. The Tight Ends were able to put together a drive and score the first touchdown of the game. Wolf Pack rebounded and their defense stopped the extra point attempt to make the game 6-0 in favor of the Tight Ends.  The Tight Ends scored again after stopping Wolf Pack for the 12-0 lead. Again the PAT was unsuccessful and the score stood 12-0. Before the end of the first half, Wolf Pack scored their first touchdown and had a successful PAT. At the half, the score was 12-7. Both teams added scores in the 2nd half. In the end, the Tight Ends prevailed 18-14,
