After the break team Sideout regained service and behind the serving of Michael Chase cut team Flight's lead down to 11-8. With Eric Blahut, Laura Gurley, and Kim Grant commanding the front line for team Flight, the lead grew to 13-9. Jim Blanchette went to the air for team Sideout and jump-served three aces forcing a time-out from Team Flight. Siding out became the name of the game until Stacey Orilla stepped behind the service line and gave team Sideout their first lead of the game 14-13. The last point of the game saw frantic rallying until an error on Team Flight gave team Sideout the 15-13 win.

Game Two:

Eric Blahut began the second game the same way he began the first game recording the first kill and serving Team Flight to a 2-0 lead. Kelly Clyburn served up the next 3 points for team Sideout as Everett Moss took charge in the front row recording 2 kills in a row. Cheron Lang displayed his setting skills as he mixed his way and Team Flight's way to a 5-3 lead. Service errors plagued both teams in the following rotations and after a Matthew Anavy kill the score was tied at 5-5. Unforced errors helped team Sideout to a 10-6 advantage as increasing pressure started to show on Team Flight's side of the court. Todd Ouellette took advantage of the unforced errors and ripped into Team Flight by serving the last five points of the game to give team Sideout a 15-7 win in the game and a 2-0 match decision.
